Finding Pokémon Through Pokopia Habitats
In Pokopia, every Pokémon is tied to one or more specific habitat configurations. Unlike traditional Pokémon games where you encounter Pokémon in the wild, Pokopia requires players to construct the right habitat environment — with the correct materials in the right quantities — before a given Pokémon will appear. This makes habitat knowledge the most important skill in the game.
Some Pokémon in Pokopia appear in a single habitat type only. Legendary Pokémon like Kyogre, Mewtwo, and the legendary birds are exclusively tied to their corresponding high-rarity Pokopia habitats and cannot be encountered anywhere else. Knowing which habitats host which legendaries — and what materials each requires — is essential planning information for endgame players.
Other Pokémon appear across multiple Pokopia habitats. Eevee, for example, can be found in the Wildflower Garden habitat but its various evolutions each require a different habitat type across all five biomes. This cross-biome design rewards players who explore every area rather than specializing in a single Pokopia region.
